Winter blues.

Do you have the same routine on a weekend in the winter,as you did in the summer?
I hate going out in the winter when its dark before you go in a bar, public transport with weirdo's and large groups of chavs wherever you go,wanting to start fights...

I cannot wait for the summer to be here, and for plenty more people to be going out.

Discuss.
Jim
Yeah I get the same sometimes. I have to walk a different way to town when it's dark as well because it's such a dodgy area, right round the corner is a needle exchange :nervous:

When it's cold I can never be arsed walking into town either, i'd rather just stay in.

Bring on the summer sun :D

Yeah, but even if I think, well I'll go with a big group of friends, the bigger group of people you go out with, the more gangs of lads want to start problems.
Anyone else find this?
Jim
Not really but then again I never really go out with a big group of people, usually no more than 4 or 5.

Where abouts you from?

Despite that cold and darkness of the winter I find that if you force yourself out for a walk, jog or cycle ride it can really bring you back-up.

Or if you work in an office go for a walk on your lunch break. Since what little sun we get is during working hours.

or bright well lit gym helps too:D

This place is so damn cold. Cambridge is like the Bahamas in comparison!

Personally i love the summer, i always get a lift during the first few sunny and (just as importantly!) warm days of spring. It makes me a lot more willing to go out and about. The best thing about summer... womens (lack of) clothes!

Are you going to matt hardwick on the 7th?

After living the Canadian winters the U.K. ones seem more like an extended Autumn to me.

When it gets dark, you can justify drinking earlier. 4pm is a nice start..
