Ok we're talking about professional dj here, not cheap disco mobile dj!! I think all djs you named, if they're where they are today, they proof something to clubbers. I don't mean that i like all djs, and find them all good, it's just a question of taste. There people who really don't understand what's a good dj, but you have to considere that they pay to see them, same as you!! When you book a dj, you want him to make people dancin, and have a good trip! If you have get the result, why he's bad??

you have never seen a "professional" club dj perform badly...
djaying is also about marketing oneself...there are so called cheap dj's who have 10x the talent of the "professionals", they just havent gotten themselves out there.

I've seen dj who doesn't perform as i know they can do...and i agree to say it's a bad performance. It's same thing as saying Jose Theodore is bad, he don't stop the puck!! Yes Right, but everybody know that he can do it!!

I think Max Graham as a DJ, for the last two years, has sucked ass as a DJ.

He doesn't seem to give a about what the crowd thinks/feels anymore.
I used to love his sets and always danced my ass off, now they are just "meh..." and I don't like the vibe.

With that said.... I like *most* of his productions.

I feel the same way (except I don't like his productions either). everything I have ever heard about him in the last few years points to a DJ who is just riding out his success and taking advantage of it. Last year at system he was spending more time flirting with girls and drinking than he was mixing.

I happened to sit at a table next to him in a restaurant downtown before Christmas; my BF and I had to stop ourselves from laughing out loud at some of the he was saying. It was like the max graham show..."me me me"
