he should just die already, all they do at concerts is play "Start me up" anyway.
BTW, the grandma beater avatar has been creeping me out :nervous: |
"Start me up" song is actually a clause from their hospital arrangement - some sign "DNR" - Do Not Rececitate, they sign "Start me up" (if the pacemaker stops). Also, I loved every song:
"I can get no satisfaction (without viagra, or even with it)"
"You gotta shut me up, once a grandpa starts to talk he'll never stop! You made an old man cry, you made an old man die"
and so on.
Mick Jagger pranced around like he had a diaper full of poop. Oh, and the Leather Face and Rod Steward-ugly-haircut-lookalike guy were pathetically "machinegunning" the audience with their guitars...:haha: Wankers!
You know something, they should have retired back in the day when instead of banging the groupies they just invited them for a nice chat and cup of tea. You know, old folks get rather lonely.. :clown: |

| Let's all be honest here. The reason we're mad is because there was no boob exposure this year. |

Ummm ...no. Im not a Stones fan but both keith Richards and Charlie Watts (drummer - if u didnt know) are both hoghly regarded musicians. Watts being a very highly regarded jazz drummer. |

I think there are alot more guitarists out there that are much better than Keith Richards.
Jimi Hendrix and Jimmy Page make Keith Richards look like an amature. |

Hendrix being dead and Jimmy Page doing charity work in Brazil today arent better guitaists. In the day yes, but you would have to put Jeff Beck maybe ahead of Page and even Hendrix said it in his own words that Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top was his only peer. You guys are judging them on today, backtrack 20 years ago and the stones stand up to just about any band musicianship wise. Should they still be playing? No, but dont take away what they were. |

ok well since theyre still making music I can compare their present slefs to Tom and tom wins by a long shot.
if you want to compare their generation look what I posted earlier. Beatles, Doors, etc all blew them away. |

Where are u getting this from? The Doors had maybe a 5 year window, studio wise they put out great stuff they were hit or miss live (depending on what chemical state Morrison was in) Anyone could argue it was between the stone and the beatles during the 60's and early 70's, as far as Zeppelin they made their mark at the start of the 70's. Page was still in the Yardbirds until 68 i think. have u even heard "Beggars Banquet" or "Exile on Main Street"? You might want to see what McCartney said about them ......... |
