for godsake..i give them credit when credit is due..they might be 60 something years old but goddamnit..do u see any other band doing that? no..every other band either od'd on drugs or got shot..my god..the stones are legends and i love all there albums and for godsake id rather listen to the stones then any beatles song anyday. just my personal taste. |

morello is good by all means, but he doesn't compare to the REAL virtuosos... vai, satriani, srv, even kirk hammett
if "inventive" is the only thing that makes for a good guitarist, look no further than eddie van halen. the guy used to turn his back to the crowd during concerts to keep people from witnessing his different skills. he even used sandpaper occasionally to play the guitar, if memory serves correctly
you can't compare keith richards to tom morello because they both were in their prime at two different periods of time. morello expanded his own knowledge of guitar through the early pioneers such as keith richards.
give the man some credit, even if he was a heroin addict
