The robobbotronic first set from our Mod this month is hosted on my domain now, and I HIGHLY recommend a listen. There have been a few comparison between this and my February demo, I'm thinking mostly because of the early tracks, but this takes off with a similar vibe to mine and goes in an entirely new direction. I really hate comparing our amateur sets to those of the "big names" but sometimes that's the best way to get across the feel of a set, and where I think mine goes in a bit of a "Sasha Kleinenber" direction, Bobby's sick progressive funk reminds me much of a combination of Max Graham and Desyn Masiello.

It's a great set that is incredibly well phrased and programmed, my only complaint is that the first mix could have been a little better phrased/eq'd, but beyond that, it's unreal. I highly recommend it!

Well done Bobby!

:)

Guh it merged kinda funky, but I figured I'd put them both in the same thread instead of what would appear to be whoring myself all over the forum :p

Just finished listening, and Im left wondering why Bobby hasnt posted his mixes before now. Theyre great! Awesome track selection, IMO. Ive been "seat-dancing" in the library for an hour. :)

If you did this while drunk, I bet youre pretty f*ckin' awesome when youre sober. :p

I didn't rename the file when I uploaded it. Everyone who downloads it gets one called 'Winner!'. Mind you, I was quite drunk when I came up with the title / uploaded it, and the "Back Into the Funk" description came about today.

Bitch :p
