Heard she was actually 15 ...

Anyway the point isn't there

Clearly she didn't take exctasy she took something that is now called Exctasy.

Only one thing should be remmembered there, never trust drugs taht don't come from someone you know and that has tested them before you and that hasn't died yet !

oh yeah, and lopi, try to convince every older brother and sister, parent, grandfather, or related relative that buys alcohol for young'uns and accidentally contributes to them dying of alcohol poisoning or smoking parents that give kids a lifetime of respiratory problems that they're accused of manslaughter. pretty hard when a dangerous substance is arbitrarily considered "socially acceptable", ain't it?

In my stretch of partying I've seen, heard, and witnessed many many disturbing things. There is a small darkside to partying, that only comes out when someone either od's or dies from taking drugs. The bottom line is no one really knows why e effects some people some ways and other people other ways...There have been no long term effects published, simply because there have been no long term studies. You can't blame the person for trying it, if all of her friends are doing it, shes gonna try it, something reacted bad with her and the (probably filthy) pill. This happens every now and then, and is to be expected. Bottom line, when you're messing with drugs, prepeare for the consequences. Period.

My heart and condolences go out to the family and friends.

The little girl knew what she was taking and it was her decision the guy should only be charged with drug trafficking. Most of us wernt exposed to this stuff as kids but believe me its getting worse I know cause I see it with my own eyes where I live.

You're right but you also have no idea what it's like in Hudson (and surrounding area) really you dont, I lived there for 8 years and it is by far one of the most mind altering places on the face of the earth.

Why? Not because of the huge cloud of weed smoke that hovers over that buckfutter town, no... It's because it is the OC of Quebec, some of the richest people you can think of live in Hudson and St-Lazare, and a vast majority of people in the town of Hudson are unbelievable arrogant and you could even say ignorant to any way of life outside their precious 5,000 person box.

This all sounds like it's something out of a movie, but it is not, people have been in Hudson for generations and will always be there and to be honest it's a small town gone bad... This girl dying will provide the town with more gossip then it will grief, and people will go around pretending to have known the girl so they can say "Oh she was such a sweet girl, we would have never expected it".

Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of genuine and kind/nice/giving/generous/upstanding people in that town, but the atmosphere there is so different from anywhere else I've ever been to.

Jim Duff said it himself when CTV interviewed him (He's a Hudson resident) " Until you're 17 and can drive, you are trapped there". Trapped is such a good way of putting it, because the place would drive anyone who'd ever lived in the city before to go facking nuts and swallow gasoline then eat a lit firework.

So glad I don't live there anymore, and I am unbelievably sorry for this girl who fell victim to the deadliest combination of drugs and absolute boredom.

It really is, just less rich and full of way more deadbeats.

Most people in Hudson refer to Kirkland/St-Anne's area as "In the city" or "downtown" even to some. Nevermind Pointe-Claire, woooof, getting a little too urban there.

Montreal is a far off land to most of them.

For example one girl who went to my high school, her uncle or step dad (forget which) is John Scotti... The car dealership guy, she for sure drives a Mercades, and has probably crashed 5 of them.

Out of 5000 people, easily 4999 of them are druggies, or tramps, or s, or going no where in life, or dont need to go anywhere in life cause they'll just inherit their parents companies, or any or all combinations listed.

Oh another girl's dad or uncle or some owns Mega blocks, ya those big ing blocks that you can build with. Kazillionaire for sure.

So glad I don't live there anymore, if any of you have seen that movie where the guy who plays spider man drew a comic about a really boring town in the 50s, then he gets transported there and its all black and white... That's Hudson, till I moved back to the city, I couldnt see color.
