i really appreciate the offer piett..
but reality is that there will be alot of out of towners for this who are staying in montreal.Getting them messed up and then traveling downtown is not the best idea.(4 me too)
I have already been looking at a few venues.(a few that might even give me the space free of charge in exchange for liquor revenues)
Also keep in mind that there is a possibility that i have a good friend of mine do a dj set, and he would not be doing that for free at someones house.(trust me if it works out it will blow you away(esp you erika)...im just waiting on his confirmation of his being able to visit town that weekend)I really hope that maybe Louis,Biggy or anyone else could give me tips on how to find and deal with the venue issues.I dont want this event to cost anything(other than booze of course) and i want it to be available to all of those who are going to Beb(ie have tickets)
To be in a crowd of 15 000 people and able to recognize peeps who they partied with before hand would be priceless.
Piett...i can even arange to have a lap top with abbleton to please your legion of growing supporters if ya want to drop a few choons.

thought about it...and it is a possibility.
like i said i dont want to make money or lose it.
If someone wants to give some space in exchange for booze sales it would be great too as i would not have to deal with making sure we have a fully stocked bar.
keep em coming guys...this n00b needs ideas..

| the date would be the afternoon evening before Beb itself(hence pre party)I wanna show all the out of towners why our parties are the longest and the best.BeB weekend is usually one chocked full of partying and very light on sleep 4 me! |

yeah, probably a better idea if we did it DT then, would be hard to get everyone to the West Iland, im sure a few out of towners would get lost on the way (
But thats really nice of you to offer the lappy, id ing love to get a chance to mix in front of large scale TAs.
Id be willing to bring gear, rather than renting, I got a good mixer and decks, id be willing to bring em DT as il have to bring my Midi controller and computer down anyways if im mixing.
Anyway, keep me in the loop. |

you are welcome as all of you to help, brainstorm all of the above.I'm willing to do the majority of the legwork but im not a promoter and want to be able to have fun too.Stay tuned and i am glad you would like to participate, as it seems you are getting great reviews from many TA's
Now if people would like to mention locations or venues that you think are interesting or suitable for this id love to hear it.I still have over 2 months, but the quicker i get this done the better...I want this sunofabitch to be off the bloody hook:D |
