| I dont know much about venues but I do know that my program once rented out Jet nightclub for a fundraiser event, it seemed nice there maybe we could talk to them see what they have to say? |

Jet is too big, I'd recommend something smaller, something like a lounge...

is that little place Dolce still around...
that could be a possibility and it is not too big..
plus the place was always empty when i went so im sure they can use the business...

i agree about it being nice to meet people you've partied with beforehand, especially for a mega-event like BeB. i wouldn't mind spinning either, via laptop of course (maybe before the more accomplished dj's here) :D
count court and i in (provided we can afford BeB, that is)!! |

this could work out, if we charge 5$ a head to get in, conservative estimate of about 80 ppl showing up (correct me if im rong) we could cover the cost plus any extras.
I think we need to call em up and find out all the info, and also talking to an official promoter would help us alot. Lets see if we can dig one up ;) |

Ha! If all the TAs come (which we all will) PLUS all our the people we know who are going to BeB come also...WAY more than 80 people...Malade.

I've sent them an email concerning the venue, but i will check out other options too.I want to have a few choices available by the end of the week to be able to decide what would work best.(ie..least set up...possible drink specials.)As far as people i will put out feeler threads soon to see what people from elsewhere think and if they would go.Any advice from someone with experience who would share wisdom on how to pull this off the best way would be a godsend. |
