| I understand the setup...but what is the point of using serato when you can play and edit tracks in live? why is serato needed? also, just as junior said, how can you take away single pieces of a song? hmmmm... |

Taking parts or samples off a song can be done. ;) Im not sure if there's a plug in for Live, but I know there's software that does it. I have one software that when you open a track, it breaks it down for you. It will give you the drums, kicks, hi hats, and just about everything else. I havent tried to take a melody, but I have taken kicks and hi hats off nomral MP3s.

I know! :D We're all over this in another forum! Everyone is going nuts trying to decode PVD's message, and one guy is very close to getting it right!

hahahah the left is SERATO SCRATCH LIVE (Made by Rane & Serato), the one on the right is ABLETON LIVE.
BTW, I didn't take the pict., Drew did.
