Vxman has come out of the closet, ladies and gentlemen :tongue2 But seriously, words only cannot explain the Sasha/Zabiela experience, you have to experience it firsthand to understand. And it's quite the treat :p

Mix starts with a dreadful pattern. It is acceptable for an intro. Many DJs start slow, catch up later. At 4th min, there are some effects. I was expecting he might throw something complex. At 14:30 min, RJ announces this is Sasha mix, oh really I thought this was a kid behind an electronic keyboard. I could not take any more. I forwarded to 24 min when he completely broke down. The rest of the mix was like pushing a car uphill with slow motion tempo.
In summary, there is no originality in this mix. It sounds like a beginner level mix with simple electro effects. It reminded me Larry Heard Can You Feel It.
Enough is enough. I do want to hear sasha or zabiela the rest of my life.
The main reason people are not coming to EDM events is bad DJs. I am not planning to go to any EDM event until summer since there is no one worthy appearing. It is not because I dislike people. |
so which dj out of your all start lineup would you recommend?
i'll be honest, i was not to fond of his latest essential mix. Digweed however is playing on a higher level. |

i still listen to alot of sasha sets from 2002, the ages of the darker progressive stuff. However, this will be my first time seing Sasha as well as zabiela live since i just turned 21. I've been listening to their stuff for years tho.
Sasha Live @ Radio 1 Annie Nightingale Guest Mix 1/13/06 - I didn't really like this set. I hope sasha doesn't dissapoint on Saturday
my favorite sets from zabiela
James Zabiela - 2004 essential mix is still my favorite hands down
Sasha and Zabiela - Back 2 Back @ Mondaybar is mint and one reason why i want to see them play together
Sasha & Zabiela @ Pacha, Buenos Aires is not bad either |

I think the best set I have heard from Sasha was the last time he spun with Zabiela @ Avalon.
Clovis you should post the set from that night again for the people who do not have it.
I guess he will be playing totally diffrent track on Sat though. |
