Yes, he produces music, remixes, Deejay's. When he plays live he does a lot of real-time on-the-fly-manipulation of music using effects processors (Pioneer EFX-1000), Ableton Live (music software and great for live performances), Powerbook, samplers, and two CDJ-1000s Mach II (MK II). Using all this technology and his mastery of turntablism (scratching) makes the music he plays sound very unique and different each time he performs. So no one James Zabiela show is identical to another.
Here is his discography: includes productions, collaborations, DJ-mixes, remixes:
Jay Boy Zee Discog
I never heard of the Flying Doctors. And the cool thing is, the flip includes an Oliver Lieb remix. O. Lieb kicks ass :clown:

Flying Doctors = Jeff Bennet, James Zabiela, Kriece
If thats not a winning combo, I dunno what is. Sasha played the Lieb mix in Vegas, I quite like the original though, its really cool breaks. |
