Looking at Guys tracklist tells me that I missed a great uplifting set...I really hope Ferry plays an uplifting set, so I don't feel too bad that I missed this one....

worst nite ever!

friend got tossed out guv @ 12h30am due to excessive drinking prior to the party. (actually well I dragged him out, because I saw that security was comming in to get him). Left friends hanging, cuz didn't tell them we were outta there..

Anyways, needless to say, had to bring him back to crash, and that was the end of it for me... (well once i got home.. I cont'd drinking at neighbors house, but that didn't make up for it)

Word of the wise.. Tequilla is designed to be handled with extreme care, and should only be administered to properly qualified personel (such as myself..)

What a great night! I managed to arrange something at work and make it there last minute and glad I did. Guy Ornadel played an amazing set, very uplifting and very banging at the same time. One of the most energetic sets I've ever heard. Awesome!

I was not very impressed with Mark Oliver prior to or after Ornadel, and left the Guv early (for me) at about 6. I know he can play good sets, but not last night. The other downer was the crowd at the Guv. I have not been to the Guv on a regular night often, but last night met many of the stereotypes. There were definitely some cool peeps there, but most people were gino\arrogant\clueless type. I'm so sorry to say that the stereotype of arrogant Asian crowd dominating that club was true last night.

I still had an amazing time with my friends and the TA's I met up with (TranceXtasy, dietCocaine, Time2Burn, Swamper). Spider, what the hell happened to you? We lost you... And Kytracid, did you go? I was expecting you there... Was hoping to meet more TA's but either they didn't show up at acid lounge around 1:00, or they were there and we didn't know (kinda hard to meet up with people you can't recognize, LOL).

One last thing, the lighting at the Guv was awesome last night. I think they've reprogrammed the lazer, as I saw colors and effects I hadn't seen before. The sound left something to be desired though, just not tuned right, sounded hollow at times, and distorted often. They really need to get their act together and make better use of the Phazon system.

I think he also played Bedrock - Heaven Sent

and Ballroom - 4 Am (remix?)

I think Bedrock - Heaven Scent was played by Mark, not Ornadel.

I thought last nite was great. Ornadel played a great set, altho I don't think I cared for the last 20 mins of his set, & couldn't exactly tell when he went off the decks. It seemed to me that Mark Oliver came back on, & 15 mins later they asked the crowd to applaud for Ornadel. Is this what happened, or am I mistaken?
But I have to disagree with Arcticboy- I usually avoid the Guv on a Sat. nite like the plague, and went in there with my guard up expecting the worst, but actually found the Gino factor unusually low last night. I really thought it was the most tolerable Sat. nite crowd I've experienced so far. I hope I'm just as lucky for upcoming shows like Corsten, AVB, etc...
Did anyone catch that track he played at 2am, with vocals that sounded like Sinead O'Connor?
