i've yet to attend a bad or mediocre set by this guy.
i saw him live again last saturday and he really set the dancefloor on fire.. banging stuff all the way.
people seem to associate him with mcprog all the time (granted, he does promote this sound is his radio show), but there's no fluff to be found in his live sets. i've seen him like five or six times live now and he played a great set on each occasion.
i don't know why i started this topic really.. i guess i just wanted to say something positive, with all the negativity that has been around lately. thanks for a great night out, Markus. :) |

I was there too and it was one of the best sets of the night imo, together with Above & Beyond's.

| +1 to markus live. his newer productions, studio sets and mix cds bore me to tears, but he's kicked ass when i've seen him live =) |

| If you ever hear Markus Schulz live you know that it is always pumping. He still plays tunes with those big nasty basslines, but instead of the mellow melodies on top, its banging synths. I love this guys style. Radio is nice listeniing music and live sets are :crazy: |

Well who would play mellow tunes to a packed stadium anyways?
Even PVDs radio show is nothing like his live sets. |

He plays the exact same on his show as he does live , average mixing and just nothing exciting.

He was a real borefest in Helsinki last year too. He even played the godawful vocal version of Taurus - as if the instrumental wasn't bad enough...
I exchanged a few words with him after the gig, he's a nice guy and all but the music he plays... oh dear :nervous: |
