Hehe, I meant soft by Yoji's standards :D. Don't expect to see him pumping out a set at 155bpm is what I meant ;). But yes, should be good hopefully. |

Well actually Yoji has done Live PAs before in Japan, and his Sensation Black 2005 set was somewhat of a live PA as well. He had a live keyboard and a huge sampler with him at Black '05. |

I was shocked to see Yoji booked for Guv in the first place. I was always thinking that Yoji would be booked to play at the Docks for a rave, or at WEMF.
Seeing as this is Guv, I'm not surprised any local talent was not booked. Also one thing to consider is that Yoji is arguably the most popular hard dance DJ in the world. My guess is that the Guv people, or possibly Yoji's agent hooked up a deal with Guv due to fan pouplarity, because for years Toronto Yoji fans have been asking to see him here.
Hopefully booking someone like Yoji was not just a one-off occurence for Guv, and hopefully it opens doors for other harder DJs to be booked at Guv or in Toronto in general. |
