i would attempt to grace you people with a better review but i've killed a record amount of brain cells over the last 3 days... all i can say is that Friday night was one of the most amazing nights out i've ever had. i've never had as much fun with a group of people as i have when i party with TAs!! i'm glad we were all able to get together and party at my crack mansion!
oh, and Glaude f*cking owns. now i understand why Rob is so crazy about him. :crazy: |

First off, thanks so much to Myra and Rob for the hospitality. The crack mansion rocks, especially the Cafe Del Mar Menu!
Big thanks to Angie as well for your driving & patience :D . Sorry for getting lost at Gurnee Mills, I thought it was circular shaped and that I was at the original food court, rather than a 2nd one.
Great to see you Bobby, Tony and Yuris too! Thanks to the entire crew for putting up with the Macho Coat until the crowd got drunk enough to enjoy it.
Mantra was a nice place for the size and I liked the lounge area and friendly waitress, who was courteous enough to receive several Slim Jims as part of her tip after a round of free drinks. While Milwaukee may not be the party juggernaut that is Chicago, once Glaude got took over, it became quite the scene. I don't know of anyone who seems to be enjoy themselves as much during a set as Mr. G. It's a shame that we couldn't sort out the details on the afterparty with Donald, but honestly as great as that would have been, I don't think he could have topped the many brilliant comments made by a certain person who shall remain nameless (Hint: starts with a Y).
The only disappointing part of the whole trip was the lack of cake eating which took place! As comfortable as the nice, soft carpeting behind the DJ equipment was to sleep on, I had to cry after all that labor ended with no takers. Someone at least please post a picture! If Yuris gets sick this week, it is likely due to him having a huge slice at about 6 this morning at the mini Crobar afterparty.
If not sooner, let's all go to Summerfest and do this again! |

that's a great idea! maybe Summerfest will (hopefully) have a good DJ booked this year... that'd be a sweet event to get a bunch of TAs to party at.
or maybe when DJ "0rb Return" gets a gig at Three! :p |

That was really so much fun @ Mantra. I love hanging out with TAs. And yes Glaude was totally going to come and play and party until we got escorted from the premises. I just have bad luck with head security.
Now I'm really sick but it was totally worth it! Oh, and when I was going to leave my vehicle wouldn't start, and fortunately my parents live close by so my dad was able to come and help me replace my alternator. 4 hours later I was finally home, and very hungover.

I just figured you guys would want some chill downtime since we'd just left so I didn't want to impose on coming back in right away. Plus my parents only live 15 min away so my dad was there in no time. There was a lot of pushing the car around the parking lot, though, and that got to be tiresome on my tired hungover brain :p |
