Chain Maille update

Hi guys.
I created a thread about chain maille a while back. Since then, I have been making many chain maille items. I thought instead of contributing to the usual rubbish in the CORe, I'd make an educational thread.
short version: haha there is none! :D
long version:
Chain maille was originally made by the Celts circa 500BC. Who cares about that though. Today, chain maille is made differently. The mailler starts out with a bunch of wire. Then the wire is coiled into a spring using a mandrel(aka a rod).

Using some high-powered wire/bolt cutters, the spring is cut straight across... which leaves some rings with the ends a little off from eachother.
Next, using a pair of pliers, the rings are weaved together into many different patterns and such. the end.
