Coldplay call it quits?

Coldplay have reportedly revealed at the Brit Awards that they are splitting up.
Singer Chris Martin implied that the group may plan to take a break as they won awards for best single and Best album.
As he picked up the second prize, he said: "This means so much to us, especially now. It's going to be a few years before you see us again."
He added: "People are fed up with us - and so are we."
Friends claim Martin is putting the band on hold so he can spend more time with his wife Gwyneth Paltrow. They are expecting their second baby in April.
The 28-year-old singer later told Brits host Chris Evans: "You had a break, so are we."
Coldplay landed a record deal in 1999, and have recorded three award-winning LPs: Parachutes, A Rush of Blood to the Head and 2005's X & Y.

I didn't mind coldplay
Except I hate that one song that has that lyric, "Ignite your bones"

| Apparently they're not splitting up, but quite why Chris Martin said we're not going to see Coldplay for a long, long time is anybody's guess. |

| chris martin is a twat anyway. He's good but we need a break from his whiney voice. Some tunes are good but there's way too many remixes (funny because the original coldplay remix which he approved, he changed his mind on because it was going to be as big as the original) - the lost witness remix of 'trouble' |
