rheanna or whatever the name of that new female "hip hop" star is...
the song name is SOS or something...
it sickens me that these kids walk around talking about that song like it's the best thing since sliced bread (they think it's original material)...:whip: |

I know its about sampling but at least be educated where those samples came from...
a lot of the great "mainstream" hip hop hits are based around 70s and 80s rock music and i can bet you anything that 90% of the fans don't even know that
I knew about the soft cell being a cover, but I was talking about the musical aspect and actual "samples" used in the soft cell version... |

| All the pop rap tunes have been stealing the biggest hooks from the 70s and 80s like it's no big . The worst is usually they just steal the music hook, and then rapify using their rapifying equipment, drop some vocals over it, your average 16 year old random person has no idea . |
