Your Parents Legacy On You

every one of my mother's relationships has ended in failure, and i always have to comfort her. i have no problem doing that, but throughout my entire life, this is all ive seen is failure. i know its not true, but i still assume that all relationships end in failure, and so therefore i do not even bother having a girlfriend, because in my thinking, we're going to end up breaking up anyways, and why lose a good friend?
my mother just got her heart broken again, and the thing is, im not surprised at all. in the back of my head, i knew right at the start.
if u ever get married, make sure its for real. divorce is really a thorn in the side of any children u may have if u get divorced. |

My parents legacy:
Dad = (direct legacy, he's like this) Being a cnut gets you ahead. Work hard.
Mum = (indirect, do the oposite) Don't let people take you for a ride. Look after money, don't like alcohol too much...
And I agree on the marrying thing, my parents broke up, at the time and for ages after I didn't accept it affected me but it did. Still does in a way gives you way more problems even with simple thing like christmas dinner, uni graduation so on. |
