From an out of towners perspective, i have to say Jelo.
He is balsy sometimes when it comes to what tracks he is dropping and i find it distinguishes him from the rest and works quite well.
Sean Miller is a very good DJ, but i have always heard him opening for Lawler. When he opens for Lawler he is quite awful.I guess he cant do his thing properly.Lawler and Miller on Canada Day was probably one of the worst events musically i've ever been to.I really hope i get a chance to see Miller on his own one day. |

Not hard to steal the show from Lawler ever since his switch from the dark moody tribaly stuff. |

to me, that is a trait of a bad dj. djs need to be versatile and work with every type of environment. i have never seen sean play poorly so i have nothing but good things to say about him. im really looking forward to seeing his all-night set this sunday at state theatre. |

Deko-ze
He's my party security blanket. Even if the big out of town headliner comes in all coked up and plays a worthless set (Mauro Picotto, I'm looking in your direction!) I can count on good times with Mr. Babb behind the decks.
He's got a great game face AND he's down to earth as well. |

When Sean opens for a headliner, he usually plays to the crowd. If there is no one on the dancefloor, and the people are just coming in, he doesn't start dropping bombs on you like other dj's out there.... he will play the stuff that builds momentum, usually more vocal, slower tempo, mellow stuff..... when he is the headliner, it's a completely different story.
But if you really want to see Sean at his finest, catch him during one of his XXXtended sets... |

Sean blew me away on NYE.
But I gotta give my vote to Jeff. ;) |

actually this was quite the opposite story that night. The room was already full and it was the only time i have seen almost no one dancing at Stereo. He showed no crowd reading abilities whatsoever that night( nor did Lawler )I want to catch him during one of these sets, but i seriously doubt he will ever headline here.Hopefully , but doubtful. |

Really surprising to me.
I bet i've seen Sean play close to 50 times by now, and not once has that happened. Maybe him and Steve were out partying too hard the night before..... lol |

Deko-Ze = most versatile, a real people's party DJ!
Greg Gow = most talented, as both a producer and a DJ. He's getting international attention more than most of the DJs listed in this thread. |
