I saw a guy in Atlanta wear SoulFusion glowshoes at a party... they were pretty cool, but imagine how many ppl will stop to see your shoes every night.

Josh, do yourself a favor and buy a pair of Skateshoes. The soles last forever, they are comfortable, and are built to last. My favorite kicks of all time for dancing in are the DC Alias.

For a year now I've been rockin' my Circa CX205's and they've treated me very well.

Although, I'm tempted to go on an online search for another pair of Alias's because they are sooooooo nice. (I destroyed my first pair skateboarding years ago.....damn griptape....why do you have to be so abrasive :( |

That's exactly what I said Andrew!
P.S. I also have those shoes...except I had the originals...baby blue, white and navy blue...I don't think you can even buy them anymore. |

 Oh I know, I'm just restating the point.:D
You can still find them online, and the girls ones they still sell at West 49, but all very small (not that that's a problem for you i'm sure ;) )
I had the Grey/Red combo, and I loved them very much. |

I use to use NB's, but switched to Mizuno's. The ones below are so comfortable and unbelievably light. Designed for running, but are sweet to dance in.

+ they have varying widths.. i have skinny feet so it helps to avoid slippage..
i like skate shoes and all, but they just don't provide enough support to dance the night away without injuring myself.. :o |

| Personally i normally wear my Skechers when i go out. Those shoes can take a serious pounding and last for ages. :D |

no support??? They are designed to give support for skateboarding. Any skate shoe I've ever owned has so much padding that my foot doesn't move inside. The arch is *sometimes* lacking, but that is easily fixed with a good insole (ie Superfeet, or SofSole. I'm talkin' good stuff here not like Dr. Scholls)
Not to say I'm knocking NB, excellent shoes. Probably one of the best running shoe companys out there, along with Asics and Saucony. I'm just saying that the only time I've injured myself while wearing skateshoes was actually skateboarding, and it wasn't the shoes fault....It was mine. :toothless
note: If you havn't guessed yet, I'm a bit of a shoe freak, and I used to be Footwear Manager at Sport Chek and Sport Mart and West 49. |

| Not sure how to ask this, but wouldn't the problem with wearing skateshoes is that you can be refused entrance at the door, because of certain style codes? |
