Bay street eats?

Mercatto (on Bay, south of Richmond) is definately one of the best Bay steet eateries. I love their fresh italian sandwiches and creative salads! Toasted roast beef with carmelized onions and horseradish... red and yellow peppers sauteed with oil and spices... but I digress ;)
I've been abusing this place way too often and am in need of a new lunch location. Post your favorite Bay street eats and help a fellow (hungry) TA out! |

The original Mercatto is across the street from me on Torontostrasse.
Near the Mercatto on Bay is Temperancestrasse. There is great little hole-in-the-wall chinese place on Temperance. |

Mercatto on Bay: Take out prices
Sandwiches/Wraps $6.50
+ small salad ~$8
I can't remember the prices for any entrees (sit down menu). |

Sushi you say?
Ninki is awesome. It is just west of Mamma's Pizza @ Yongestrasse & Adelaidestrasse.
Mister Sushi @ Richmondstrasse & Victorastrasse has a happy hour every day from 5 to 7 with beer + cali-roll and edamame for $8. The last Saturday of every month Mister Sushi has a all-you-can eat for $25. |

Good question. I think it is called "Chinese Food House" (and no, that is not a joke). It is on the north side of Temperancestrasse. |

| LOL I should have said in the price range of $5-15. If I wanted to dole out cash I'd go to Hy's or the Keg, both of which are 1 minute from my office :p |
