| Please someone tell me how to adjust the tonearm screws. i've had them for three years and i have never had a problem... now, i threw on a record and the tonearm shot across the platter and won't torque up right. i'm sure i didnt set it right the first time around so does someone know the proper way? |

Thats so ing wierd man, mine is doing quite the opposite, My tone arm is nice and sticky, it will from time to time not follow the grooves and just sit in one groove. Kind of like a skip, Instead of a nice fluid feel to the arm it feels spongy. I have adjusted the anti skip thing me bob and still it feels spongy.
Never in my 12+ years of spinning vinyl has this happened, it is starting to freak me out.

| the screws are special type that need to be turned individually... however one is set INSIDE the other which means you need a special tool to do it (which usually only authorized technics dealers/service peeps have) HOWEVER... a buddy of mine knows how to do it and has a link to the online docs that'll show you how to do it with a couple of those eyeglasses screwdrivers you can get at radio shack. I'll give him a buzz later today and then toss the link up here for you. |

thanks for the help....
and yea... it is really weird. i threw on a new record and the tonearm went crazy. i must have bumped it or something. i tighten it too tight and the tonearm doesnt move freely. tighten it too loose and it flies across the platter. stupid piece of . |

| Unscrew the outer screw. Then adjust the inner screw to your desired specifications. I had to do that when I got my Techs because one of the tonearms was binding. It is easy. |

well what you wanna do is...
screw the screw on top of the screw already in the screw. then screw that screw back on with the special screw tool that the screws use, and screw the primary screw with the screw on the first screw. Then go to screen's house and screw his mom:toothless
confusing eh? |
