| So is that a yes, on a 2 channel mixer working with this? |

If you plan to use it Mixer -> Filter -> Amp, you'll
need to reduce the mixer's master so you don't overdrive
it. It will work.
The signal indicator flashes green when everything is
okay, and red when your overdriving the input. So.....
you can use that as a guide.

Okay. Got it! |

I bought an EFX500 in December and am loving it. It was kind of a pain to get used to at first, but once you get the hang of it, there's so much you can do with it. I have a PCV-275 and it's harder to use with that mixer than with ie a DJM600.
Have you taken a look at the EFX1000 yet? It's more expensive, but it has more effects.
Oh, and that Alesis unit for $50, sounds pretty damn good:D |
What kind of troubles have you had with your PCV-275? I have the same mixer, and I'm looking to get an FX unit soon myself (most likely the pioneer 500 or 1000). |

Nothing big. It's just a little harder to turn on the EFX unit with the PCV-275. With the DJM600, you just press the effects button and that's it. With the PCV, u turn the mixer to "pre" under the effect part of the channel, and slam the level fader to 0. I haven't found an easier way to do it:p You have to make sure you have the in/out levels set correctly on both the FX and the mixer. Once you get used to it, it works well, I have no problems with it:) |

| Just got it. Its pretty nice little piece. Feels solid and looks like it could handle being rough on it. I still need to get the cables though. I thought it would feel cheap but it looks to be sturdy. Ill have a better review later tonight. For now its just my first impression. |

Thanks Omnifex for the info in this unit...
This thing is pretty fun. I need to spend some more time learning all the features . Its a shame yours doesnt have the other modulations. It doubles the functions. It will take some time to get used to it but I can tell its worth the money.:) |

Len,
No Problem! What do you mean, "Its a shame yours doesnt have the other modulations"? Mine is exactly like yours. :D I just didn't use them
when I posted a demo on what it can do.
As you see, you need time to play with it. Spring Break starts on
Friday. So, I'll have time to figure it all out.
No bad for $50.00 eh? :toocool:
Saved me spending over a grand for the Xone. All I wanted was the
filters. If I find any other cool stuff on Ebay, I'll let you know. |
