I am now annoyed w/ the term "electro" (pg. 5)

My only beef is that too many different tunes are being called "electro", so I usually get confused what electro REALLY is...that is, if there is a general classification for it...bleh.

A freind of mine wasn't really into electro and he was like it's all the same. but after i played some electro tracks first thing he saied was " it's not electro is it?"
lol ..
but in my brain electro has been defnied by funky beats, punding electro effects , electro vocals, you never know hwere it's gonna end beats. ..damn it's reallly hard to define EDM . |

| electro mostly has an 80's sound to me. because thats where it came from. listen to madonna's get into the groove. that is electro to me at its best. |

COMPLETELY agree!!
Used WAY too loosely.
Most tracks ppl call electro are still house, but with electro ELEMENTS,
which DO NOT make it electro.....
