what a ing amazing set.
Woolford was very good too.

PMed...8 hours late :( But thanks nevertheless!
Gotta agree with Rubin, Fanciulli was wonderful, heard a lot of his own productions in there, starting off with the Buick Project remix of Damage. Woolford was great too and was having a great time getting hammered with Mazi after his set. Nice guy & of course excellent British accent. So...time to watch 8 hours of early 90s wrestling and then see Khoury, Seb and Aven Axiom!
EDIT: Phone found, now where are my keys? |

I'm glad you all had an awesome time, I really wanted to be there but I needed to take some time off. :)
I got everyone's text messages, sorry I didn't text back, most of the buttons on my phone are shot :(
I ended up staying up till 5 am reading "You Shall Know Our Velocity" by Dave Eggers. Finished the book from beginning to end in one sitting: haven't read a book so ty in quite some time. Went to sleep in disgust. I know, exciting :D :( :( :( :(
Was the bathroom and physical space issue really bad or was it alright? Could people move easily or was it just packed wall to wall bodies? |

YURIS!!!! missed you man.
The space was definitely not as bad as I thought it would have been. Not even close - plenty of space to move, it was not the sardine can I thought it would be. Never saw the bathroom line get too crazy - but.. the doors were open like, most of the time because of the number of ppl in there, and in general yes I would say there is an "issue" there.
SO amazing to hear him play the Warning Siren remix. I think that is probably in my top 3 Fanculli productions. Wonder if he ever ended up playing Lumieres. |

and oh yeah.. Paul Woolford ROCKS. He played a classic Chicago house track whose name escapes me at the moment - help. I really should know this but it's been so long I forgot... anyway this was so bad ass I had to get it on a video clip.

Amazing amazing to hear. Funny because I have been putting off doing a new remix (remake) of this track for some time - it's one of my fav classic house tracks. Someone please remind me what its called.. |

| I'm not sure when I went to my car to pass out or how I managed to get there but I definitely had a great time last night. I was nice seeing everyone again and I always enjoy meeting new people. :p |

Wow last night was ridiculous. Ended up finally getting a text to where the big afters was going down at 7am, a little too late for me to head over there. Partied a wee bit too hard last night but had a ing awesome night. What I caught of Woolford was great and Nic's set was unbelievable. Some tracks that I remember:
Audiojack - Robot
Tiefschwarz - Warning Siren (Buick Project Remix)
James Zabiela - Weird Science
Adam Beyer - A Walking Contradiction
Montero - Hairy Hits
Ame - Rej
Yoshimoto - Do What U Do (Paul Woolford Remix)
Bobby Peru - Erotic Discourse (Audiojack Remix)
Tiefschwarz - Damage (Buick Project Remix)
Encore: The Church - Under the Milky Way (Lance Cashion Remix)
I knew a lot more at the time but ... that's the way things go.
Great to see everyone out again. I met someone who motioned at me like I was gay with Phreek, which weirded me the out. So, whoever you were, I'm not gay.
Not going to make it out tonight. Had a hellish hangover after a two-hour nap at 11 this morning, and a dead phone, so went back home. See y'all next weekend @ Luke/Dean/Mike. |
