Probably Toronto, it used to be Montreal but now lots of head offices of big companies are stationed in Toronto....and yeah there's more people and just more commerce going on!
But Montreal is still the best city in Canada for atmosphere, food, entertainment, etc.
I'm sure you knew that was coming infinity high :p |

I feel like I'm getting provinces mixed up but I believe that it's in Alberta that they need crazy loads of outsiders to work thanks to a huge booming oil industry.
Salaries are off the hook and plenty of help is provided.
Now as a whole it was also my understanding that pretty much the whole country is getting loads of outsiders so anywhere you go you'll be ok I think. |

Well montreal is the best for partying and the cost of living is by far the cheapest (for example a house/appartment is half the price of one in vancouver and about 2/3 the price of toronto)
Also for the business side, well Alberta is getting a big boom right now, so there's a whole lot of jobs there... but its in the prairies and its boring, hehe:p
Also, Ottawa is simply a beautifull city, smaller than montreal and toronto but just amazing for quality of life. No traffic, etc etc etc.
And a bit more details about your qualifications would help.
And I would not worry too much about a job since the unemployment rate is the lowest in 30 years, so plenty of jobs. |

I can tell you about Calgary. If you can read the Alphabet you can get a decent job, well not quite. There is a lot of oil realated jobs, tons! As far as having fun, its not the best city for that, but its not too bad. There is a bit of night life, some decent lounges and pubs, lots of top 40 clubs releative to other kinds and some decent restaurants. Its close to the mountains, which is cool if you like to ski or snowboard. Generally its a pretty good place to live, but if you have a high priority on night life, then it might not be the best place.
I love Vancouver and its got much more to do there, but I don't think the job market is so good there.
I have heard that Montreal is a great city for night life, much more European than ohter Canadian cities. |
