Toronto if you want to make the most money.It is the business centre of Canada and the place to go to really make some coin if you have the experience that warrants it.Its the city in Canada that would be the closest thing to living in the US.(except in the US they dont call in the army when it snows.)
Montreal is a party town.The job market is so so but the rents are the cheapest of the 3 major cities.This is the city you want to be in for a european type lifestyle.Fashion food and partying are what make this city run.You will find the best of all 3 here.
Vancouver has the best weather and is one of the fastest growing markets in North America.Mild winters and beautiful scenery a short drive from the urban area.A very crappy edm scene that is growing, but still no where near Toronto or Montreal.Whistler is a big bonus if you like skiing. |

Some more points to add:
Montreal and Toronto both have horrible weather. Uncomfortable in the summer, even less comfortable in the winter. Vancouver's really nice and moderate.
In montreal, if you don't speak french, don't even think about stepping foot out of downtown. You wanna stay in there with all the other square heads :p, venture out and you'll see just how racist quebec can be. What I'd suggest is that you make an effort to learn the language, and then you wouldn't be missing out on all the cultural richness that the province has to offer. If you're really Xenocentric like I am, then you'll love Montreal.
Toronto is nice if you're a sucker for big cities. Seemingly much larger in scale than montreal. But you get more expensive rents, less of the cultural stuff, and the girls aren't as hawt

Funny thing, I just read an article today that pointed out how Canada's wealthiest big cities are where people are the least happy. |

very very very true...just as long as you can support yourself, this is the time that you should just be coasting along and taking what life gives you. either way, canada is an awesome country, good luck with choosing a city! :) |
