okay....my style of mixing is purely blend and pitchbend, so i never touch the platter, record, spindle, etc.
after reading a lot of info, it sounds like the main advantage of the 800 over the 200 is that you can scratch with the 800 and the platter jog, etc is fundamentally better.
since i won't be using any of this, i'm leaning towards the 200. is there anything that i'm looking over though?
the .02 on the 200 is better than theh .05
i think the 800 supports 8 beat loops rather than 4 on the 200
any other things that i should take into consideration? |

| U can play MP3s on the 200's + it has some nice FXs |

| bro get 800's if ur hardcore..which u probably arent, 200's are great all around, u can do gigs with them and bedroom dj'ing. And most here just bedroom dj, as a hobby, so i wouldnt go alllll out, unless ur a fanatic collector of tables. |

well so far, the majority of the people in this thread have played out a few times and one or two may have a timeslot at the wmc ;)
i'm just curious if i'm passing anything up by going for the 200s because i don't need the "vinyl" feel of the 800s because i don't use it at all. i guess is there a big quality difference in sound and/or durability.... |
