| one of my buddies has this mixer. i go and spin at his house all the time.. my first time seeing this mixer, i laughed my ass off. but honestly, it really isn't bad. i wouldn't buy one myself, but i'd have no problem playing a gig with it. the onboard effects are pretty ty. a few are decent if used sparingly but i'd just stay away if i were you. the mixer itself, though, is pretty decent for how basic and for it being a inger :p |

| the effects will sound like ass on a large enuff system. in fact they'll sound bad on a small rig too so dont use them. |

Stay away from the effects. It has the exact same layout as the DJM-600, but be weary of one thing:
The sliders and knobs are not linear, they are more exponential than anything else. So the most movement happens between 7-10 on the sliders, and most of the movement on the knobs occurs at the extremeties of the knobs (+10 and -10).
That is the only thing I would think about when using it. |

also...i have experienced faders leak if moved rapidly in a range of 7-10 (fader=1-10)the sound would cut out on the L or the R channel randomly..
so here's the tip/trick
1. take a djx-700
2. unplug it
3. install a Pio/Vestax/Denon/Stanton/Numark

+1,
but if not, bring an air canister and clean those faders out...at a club I can't imagine how much that thing will bleed :( |

| what an awful piece of it was! the highest i was able to set the highs was at about 10 o'clock on the knob. when i had them at +/- 0 they were ear-piercing. the faders and crossfader were terrible. the effects were, in fact, useless. wow behringer, you suck. |
