I keep hearing about these 2 coming to TO ... but never happens. They are on a US TOUR this spring and GUV does have the money to get these guys to spin.
But I have no idea when they are returning ... but it will be for sure at GUV. |

I have read before that these two refuse to play at the guvernment anymore. I guess they had some problems last time they played there.
I sooooooooo hope they come...if we need a venue my backyard is free!

I also have a couple of sources that have said they will be here in April, and while they are usually quite well informed I will be playing the waiting game until I ACTUALLY see a flyer for the event.
Now I heard Guvernment from one source but I also heard that it might be at the docks. I can see it going down at either place but guv would probably be a better for sound and size.
However it may be at the docks because Sasha & Digweed have a Phazon system that is travelling around with them on their tour so it could be set up at the docks (who's sound is alright now but could be better). It may also be at the docks because after the last Better Days party held at the guvernment there was a tiff between Sasha, his managers and guverment and I do believe they said they would not be ever spinning there again.
Things change, both in terms of where the venue might be and in general. I think as much as we might guess, the event could be set up anywhere (F@ck who knows maybe even the skydome :p). Who knows if it will even become a reality, although I know I'm waiting with baited breath for any chance they might come here! :) |

| My bet is the koolhaus......even tho it's right beside the guv with the same owners and things........the soundsystem is new in the koolhaus........never know.......as said earlier........i'm waiting for the official word on this one. |

Heard from the grapevine that Sasha & Digweed are coming too. But not for Progect Orange. They are hosting Victor Calderone. EASTER weekend at GUV is always insane. |

I think Skydome could happen.........as far as I know
They actually planned on a 30 city US tour starting in late February 2002. They also plan on bringing the legendary Phazon sound system to every city and are hiring Hollywood visuals production company Imaginary Forces, who are responsible for movies such as The Mummy and The Fifth Element.
Sasha said "we have some of the most creative people people in Hollywood working with us. The visuals will be interactive and will respond to the heat, the sound, and the overall intensity of the room. No one has ever seen this before, it's f***ing fierce!!". He added "I really miss playing in America, I've been away from things for so long and I had a chance to take a step back from djing, and when I thought that I may never be able to do it again, it really put a lot of things into perspective.. I'm just gagging to get on the road and put things back together again!!!"
thats gonna be crazzzyyyy.......but I hope the date isnt the 12th, cause Armin is coming on the 13th !!!
should be a week apart atleast. |
