+1

We're probably only going on Saturday, unless Christina's mind has changed since we last discussed.

dorkbot, that's just sad.

edit: and it's people with your mentality that ALLOW made events to jack up prices so high. imo, u're the ones getting fleeced meanwhile avb, his agency and mike bindra are laughing alllll the way to the bank.

yea i'm sure he lives pretty comfortably lol. what do u think about my previous post ryan, since you're the voice of reason on TA?
DJ_Lord
well im not the voice of reason of TA but i think an event of this magnitude will cost a little more to MADE Events so i wouldnt be surprised if they as a company jack up their prices so they can make a decent profit out of this.

I'm known for bitching at people who bitch about price, but $100 is ridiculous. Armin couldn't sell enough tickets, though, so it'd never happen. That said, I have no problem paying $50-60 cover every once in awhile. We paid $50 for PvD @ Roseland and I still thought it was worth it, as well as $50 each for Sasha @ Cielo the night before. We also paid $75 for Cox on NYE. We were going to pay $100 when it was originally priced that high, but only because it was NYE and all prices are inflated then. It's not something I'd do regularly. Time and venue play a major role in deciding whether it's worth it or not and everyone is different. Christina and I spend a small fortune on clubbing, between covers and drinks.

It'd be nice if everything were affordable for everyone, but that's just not the reality of capitalism. It's all about maximizing profits by determining how many people will pay at each price range. I think Made's pretty fair about the way that they handle ticket prices, considering that they do seem to put a good amount of effort into their events.

Edit: LOL @ me being voice of reason (unless you were talking to a different Ryan). That's definitely a new one.
