the only reason I would go to something like this is for the women, and even then ehhhhh.
I don't know if it's worth making my ears bleed for 4 hours of listening to his crap and wishing I could stab my eyes out every time he raises his hands in some overstated symbol of, I don't know, victory (because we all know that you deserve to celebrate when you quasi-successfully beatmatch 2 records).
And it's probably going to be really ing expensive to get in, and then drinks will be even worse. Screw that. I may as well just show up after it's over and pick up one of the drunk chicks that's stumbling out of the place.

count me in for tiesto. like screen, this is one of the big ones that i haven't seen.
and even though i do hate his cocky hand raising praise me technique, i don't think i'll give a if a song like in my memory or sparkles is played.

if it's all about the music, interesting that you'll excuse the whole "praise me hand wave thing" but you were pissed for weeks that Christopher Lawrence wore an "Anyone but Bush" shirt at Rich's and almost left early on account of it :eek: :eek:
all in good fun man...and yeah, I'm wordy, you all if you don't like it. I don't know how being wordy translates into being young or whatever Matthias implied. And it's not that I categorically hate all trance, I just can't stand that particular cheese flavor that Tiesto plays. Combine that with Tiesto himself being a total wanker and the fact that the club will probably be packed with underage/teenage e-tards just makes the whole thing kinda no thanks for me.
If it's cheap (enough), which I doubt, and if friends of mine are going, or if I'm massively drunk, I might check it out. |
