it offers the same stuff as the union does here. i can just stay on campus and do all the same things. see live acts, locally and nationally recognized, eat food, play pool or arcade or bowling. i want something better. i strive for the best son |

milwaukee to chicago is about 90 miles. its not like dead space in between. theres cities and all over all along the highway between the two cities so we pull over, get some food and keep going. we end up getting caught up in traffic about 6:30 about 10 miles outside of downtown. we kept driving around, we get downtown and we find a parking garage. we park and see that its gonna be like 15 bucks, which by milwaukee standards is 5 more than i've ever paid but i guess chicago thats normal. we walked around, talked to a homeless guy about staying positive and not joining the army and how everboyd knows him, which was funny cause he said hi to a cop and the cop was like "hows it goin stanley?" we ended up giving him 2 cents, which he was quite gracious of, shaking our hand and whatnot. walked up and down michigian avenue, all around downtown for like 2 hours. got back to hour parking and paid TWENTY ONE DOLLARS.. ...
then we left and got raped by tolls. 2.50 each way. GAY
stopped and got gas, got home with about 15 cents... yay
oh.. and the one day i actually thought about bringing my nice new digital camera with me, which i bought for just such an occasion, i forgot...

MWK is really a nice place ... 3, have a nice day were fun clubs ;)
Used to travel quite a lot in between MWK and Chick-A-Go ... i really hated all those toll booths as well ... the worst was the traffic jam @ downtown chicago ... some traffic jams were even more horrible then the ones i have seen here in India. |

^^ Ya tolls in & around Chicago sucks. Come on though u gotta expect it. Alot of your toll $$ goes back to organized crime too. Very crooked city.
But Dres, when i first read your post & saw u paid only $15 for parking at 7pm i was surprised. Then i saw the rest. Parking in Chicago sucks big time. Almost as bad as NYC. Thats why when people tell me parking sucks in Miami or somewhere else, I lol a little. Cause i know it dont touch chicago. I dont think ive ever gone to the city & didnt pay a load to park. Even on a monday night. ing sucks. |

that reminds me, the last time a few friends and i drove to chicago, we drove all around downtown trying to find cheap parking and parked WAAAAAY the out of the way just to save a measly five bucks. so we're walking to the club and no more than two blocks away, we see a parking ramp for seven bucks less than what we paid for ten blocks away. :whip: |
