The country that is trying to teach democracy in the Middle East and maybe even invade Iran to instill "freedom" there is the one that is on the path to banning abortions within its own borders or restricting them severely, something that even Iraq did not do (because it was secular).

Umm, just because you have these enormous (won't use liberal) progressive enclaves like LA, NYC, etc doesn't mean that the other 250+million people agree with you. |

Actually, I think most of the polls I've seen show a pretty large majority of Americans don't think Roe v. Wade should be overturned, especially in cases of rape and incest. So the will of the poeple is completely contradictory to the new law passed in South Dakota. |

I suspect this issue will go over about as well with the majority of American voters as did Intelligent Design in Dover, Pennsylvania on election day. Just the Republicans trying to start more culture wars to distract from the fact that they're ing up everything in this country. |
