| have you guys read Time Magazine's cover on Person of the Year Bill Gates (and bono)? i think that it's awesome that mr.bill gates is donating so much of his money away to his foundation. on one hand he's crushing the souls of competing software companies with a clenching fist of dominating power... but on the other hand, he is genuinely concerned about the welfare of the impoverished. a feel good story! :) |

yeah you gotta give him credit for that. him and his wife actually visit the places they're helping and have a good handle on how the money is used.
I had no idea Steve Ballmer was worth almost 14bil... wow! |

| if i was as rich as any of those guys, i would be donating so much of it to the right charities... i would donate anything to government supported charities. i think they are kind of fake. well, i have a suspicion. think about it. so much money to cancer and other disease company's and somehow there is billions of dollars spend on space and weird scientific facts that are useless. |

Sam Walton, the founder of Wal-Mart (hence the Wal in Wal-mart) left his kids his entire stake in the company when he died.
On another note, if you check out the Forbes site it will show where all these billionares are located, kind of interesting to see, there are still very few self-made billionares. Most out of the total 100 got it out of inhereting companies/shares so on. |
