Does anyone like this movie? If you haven't seen it, it's basically involves Adam Sandler going from being an insecure individual with many problems to finding happiness with this one woman (Emily Watson). Or at least I think that's what it was about.
Anywho, it's not your typical cookie-cutter Adam Sandler movie--this one stands out from the rest. (from my view again).
If anyone has seen it and enjoyed it, would you know what the Harmonium symbloizes in the movie. I haven't got a clue. |

Oh well. I also found it funny that this movie was inspired from >>> This Guy |

| I thought it rocked, definitely his best drama movie (beating out Spanglish, woohoo). Although hes essentially playing the same kind of character he plays in all his movies (insecure guy with a temper), its much better in the Paul Thomas Anderson movie setting. Also, having Phillip Seymor Hoffman as the porno guy was pretty cool. |

Lena Leonard (Emily Watson) set poor Barry Egan up. She probably paid some guys to drop it off the harmonium. She's just as odd as he is. Let's remember that she dropped off the car for repair even though there was nothing wrong with it.
The harmonium could represent Barry. He's broken but can work with the right fix. Lena is the fix for Barry just as some tape is for the harmonium. I think it was tape that fixed the harmonium, don't know for sure though. In any case, it was repaired. |

This is going to sound very odd but I love calm easy going movies .... that I can fall asleep to!
This is exactly one of them :toothless
I love how Barry Egan breaks random stuff just because he's plain weird.
I bought the dvd without knowing anything about the movie or having seen any trailers just because I liked the cover ( I have done that on numerous occasions ... I'm adventurous like that ).
Not disappointed one bit!
Thumbs up on the movie. |

His performance in Lemony Snicket gave me hope in him again. Apart from them nearly everything he's done is just a repeat of what he did in previous movies :/ |
