Ok, then let's not book headliners at all and cancel Masiello's gig on Friday @ TIL and let's DekoZ spin the whole night. According to you, the most talented and best djs are the ones who are unlisted and unheard of by the rest of the world.

actually yes...deko-ze is on par with all these djs on the international scene...

a dj is a dj unless they stand out by extraordinary techniques they use.

as ChemEnhanced said, as long as the dj keeps u dancing, why rate?
Plump Funk
i hope my djs never reach #1.

It's like comparing Kia to BMW and saying as long as they're both drivable, why rate?

Anyways, you can go to Fly on Friday to see Deko or wherever he's spinning on Friday and I'll go to see Mr. Masiello and hopefully we all have great time and have peace on earth :)

I think it's not fair how DJs are rated nowdays. In my opinion, headliners need to be separated into three or more categories (e.g. house, trance and techno) and then get their ratings within their category.

What about Breakbeat, Jungle, DnB, Happy Hardcore etc.

Other "main" gengres?

samhouse
its people like you who insist on "ranking" djs that are a major downfall of this scene. DJ'ing is and ALWAYS has been about finding new and interestng music to play for the masses. There are far more factors involved with taking DJ's into the top 100. What about how they are marketed???

Don't forget the little guys cuz they are essential to this scene and in noway "less" talented than say a sasha or an armin van buuren.

you can't rate Art
