I was born in Bălți (it's on the map). Don't remember much. All I know is that my family lived in the same region for 4 generations (including my own). My great grandparents apparently owned a vineyard but not really. Probably lost it due to us being Jewish or peasants or probably a combination of both.
So yeah. Guess this is a 'Where EXACTLY were you born' thread. Be as specific as you want - divulge some interesting details about the location, too.

then after 6 months we moved to Panama and on went my life in the tropics ;) |

I was born in Warsaw Poland
I lived there with my family until I was 4 years old. Then I came to New York and I have been here ever since. My father went back to Poland (thank god :rolleyes: ) and my mom wanted to stay and become and American Citizen. After that she sponsored my grandmother to come here. So now its just me, my grandmother and my mother. Everyone else is back in Poland but I havent seen them and I dont remember much of them anyway since I was so young, so yea who gives a . I would rather not visit either. My fathers side of the family is scum and I dont event want to associate with them.
