| I dont know what going on with Lange nowadays: 1 boring release after another. In 1999 he was my fav producer and until 2004 his productions were mostly very good. But after that In Control release there was nothing good released by him. This Is New York, Back On Track, Bermuda <--- all boring imo. :( |

i must be the only one who actually thinks 5am are getting better...
no way back/integrate
las perillas
mellodrama remixes
MIDOR's new EP
edin bosnjak - alluring wishes
..have all been pretty damn solid. this is the weakest of the recent releases though, granted |

Agreed. Lange used to be killer. I don't know what's happened to him. |

I'll tell you what happened. All these big guys are just going with the trend of techier, lamer, less melodic tunes because that's mostly all the big dj's play now. not a shred of credibility among most of 'em. Well, at least the Somatic Sense people are keeping it real thank god.
Having said that I thought Back on Track was alright, pretty good production but I just know it's gonna be played to death. |

what do you not understand about that?
“In all honesty, most trance is e. 95% of the promos I receive are just crap, totally unplayable, generic production and derivative melodies you’ve heard a thousand times before. They might be alright for 16 year old kids who have just graduated up from Lasgo, but not for anyone with at least partially developed taste.” - Gareth Emery
...No you're just a ing shill who follows what everyone else does. |

Word. Somatic Sense is the most generic label ive ever heard. Almost every tune is like the last one. Those remixes of Hiver & Hammer grated on me so much
Another Situation & Diving in the Sky are the best ive heard from that label. But one or 2 tunes doesnt make up for the amount of gash they have released |

While I appreciate you (sort of) agreeing with me, Somatic Sense is one of the worst offenders.
The problem isn't tech-trance, either. |

I'd elaborate but the two gentlemen there already said it all. |
