no sonar.. less use it so its harder to ask advise on it here.

i use cubase and whenever i need help people here know the answer..
Low Profile
Powerful and not confusing don't go together in a sentence :p
Cubase is most powerful IMO, that's why I use it. It's got the most features and I use many of them. If you need something simpler I suggest FL Studio or Reason (although Reason is a different kind of "confusing" :p ). I've never used Sonar, but Logic is maybe not your best option since it's no longer supported for PC (now it's mac only, and they've release 2 new versions since 5.5, if I'm not mistaken...)
Aquascape
Yeah, Low Profile is correct - Logic is now exclusively Mac based and has been for some time.

Cubase and Sonar are both widely used and well regarded.

Also consider Ableton Live, FL Studio and Reason.

Download demos and see what you like the best. If you make a purchase based on what someone else recommends you'll probably get the wrong thing.

Steinberg.net
Cakewalk.com (Sonar)
Ableton.com
FLStudio.com
Propellerheads.se (Reason)

none of the above mentioned programs is better or even the best. What matters is the user interface. Does it work for you personally? Do you like the workflow? does the interface inspire you to experiment? etc. etc.

These kind questions have no answer. It is up to every individual for himself to decide which is best. Good luck trying to find your best tool.

Go ahead and download the demos and see which fancies you most ;P You'l figure out which one you enjoy more. Post which one you feel you enjoy the most and we'll give you some feedback on all the features or something. Good luck!

Fruity loops is the easiest of all to start with.

u can later switch on to Reason,Cubase etc

Right :)
Start with a simple program and after a while you can switch on to a professional one.

I know, many people are about to say that it's not the program, but the person who's doing the job :)

But I still in a mind that a professional producer (like Armin, Marco V) have to work with a more powerful program like Logic\Cubase :)

Don't you agree with me?

This isn't necessarily the case. If someone begins with FL Studio, then in many cases, the learning curve for switching to Cubase goes through the roof, because the two programs are so different. It goes the other way, too; many Cubase users find Floops to be confusing as hell. It's best to find the program that works for you and stick with it.

And please, try to put a little thought into your post before you even imply that Floops is less "professional" (Whatever the hell that means) than Cubase.

And BT uses Reason. Flutlicht uses FL Studio, as does Mike Oldfield.

FL should be renamed to "Professional Audio Production Environment Pro - Ultimate Pro Trance Producer Edition"

, and then it might be regarded in a better light.

It would probably improve sound quality too.
