Now for everyone that has spent a good deal on their setup, as was originally asked, how much of that have you made back?
I spent well over 6 grand on my setup and vinyl over many years. Of that.. I probably only made back about 1700. |

Gone from Numark packages to technics, cd decks, half a dozen mixers, 600+ vinyl too. though I am very happy now with my powerbook and Ableotn live; and other goodies too.
DJ'ing isnt cheap.. i think its the records that gets ya! |

My partner and I spent about 11000$, not counting $2500 laptop (which I had before) and music.
We're mobile DJs, so we have to buy all the amps and speakers and lasers and scanners and too.
Next in line - DJM-400 for me plus 2x XP10 controllers for Virtual DJ. |
