Does anyone else spend hours working on these fun puzzles?

I see people doing it everywhere... I can't get enough of it! it's addictive.
nusty
I gave up when I beat all of them.

seriously though I do about 1 or 2 a day.
Frenchina
I feel confused even looking at it.
So attempting it would make me feel stupid.

They look hard. . .

Yes people , I know it's just numbers, but to me it looks hard.
EvilTree
I don't see the appeal of it.

Then again, I've done enough of them when I was like 5 and it was for school work so I guess it's boring to me now.

Similarly, I find word search so much more amusing than sudoku, because I didn't have them when I was a kid.

actually the only bit of numbers involves your ability to count to 9. You could just as easily make them with the frist 9 letters of the alphabit.
It's more an issue of strategic planning.

Wow stupidity level rises!!!
Ok so next time I have the chance I will try it out.

I don't think I ever tried it. I go straight to the crossword puzzles - i was addicted to those for a while. Would attempt the Toronto Star and Metro puzzles everyday.
DJ_Elyot
The fact that they're numbers is completely arbitrary. They could be symbols, letters, etc. It's nothing more than a Vertex Colouring Problem
legendary_waz
was addicted to them for a while, but now i just do the Metro or 24Hours paper ones on the ttc to school.
mindspin
sudoku puzzles are sketchy.

I happened to look over my desk here at work and saw somebody playing it, so I asked and I just got a crash course in this Sudoku from her.

Kinda neat. Too bad I hate numbers.

HOLY !!! THIS is what Jenny keeps telling me about! She loves this stuff. I don't have time to do anything besides work and postwhoring so I guess I'll never know :(
