Well if you've had experience with stores than maybe I would consider it. I just don't want to get it from some place I don't know and I don't know anyone who's purchased from them either.

An LCD is a bit different. Provided there is not an obvious crack in the screen - say some of the pixels are blown, or as was stated the interlacing with intermittent picture is the problem - that's a technical defect, which is covered under the one year manufacturer's warranty. |

You can have the damn thing, chill. If you were to just get the replacement LCD from Canon for that $66 USD Lisa, it'd take about 10 minutes to put in. Don't worry about messing things up, because hey, you don't have a warranty anymore anyway.
