Little slow with it. But here is how the midwest was hammered with the snow this week

DJ Legs
i love snow, why complain? i live in newhampshire, and im sure you have heard the term "nor easter". we get slammed with snow. this year we had a storm that dumped 4 feet overnight. my digicam was broke tho.. but i cought a snowstorm from the year before, we got like 3 feet, but i took it mid storm, check it out.

heres a pic taken from my friend, thats main street.

my driveway. it stopped snowing for an hour, then snowd again.

lookin at my neighbors house from my window, some other storm.

heres a good one, im in the middle (grey coat). midway thru a noreaster, state of emergency style, lol. we have to snowblow or we cant get the snowblower out..

yah.. thats a taste. i have a ford explorer tho.. so.. i can easely drive.

Nother map.

But getting that much snow in the midwest is a big deal because it doesnt happen. Parts Nebraska had 20+ inches dumped on them over a few days. For spring and for the midwest... that is ed.
Caela

when you live in a state that is ill-prepared for ANY snow amount , be it 5" or 5' it's a bitch and a half to try to get anywhere. [esp. w/ rear-wheel drive. haha]

and when you haven't had any snow on the ground for almost 2 months now, it's just a disappointment to get slammed with something like this.

i've been thru much worse than this - but i'm just really sick of snow and winter in general. it's been fun for the past 20 some years, now i want to get the hell out of it.

true enough, it must be rough when you're not used to it. i have family in jersey and the FREAK out and call off school when they get a few inches. last year i was driving to school with my jeep in 4-wd, during a snowstorm, and SLAMMED into another car. i guess we're so used to it here, they think you can drive in anything :nervous:

i've only experierenced 3 snow days in my whole life:
2 of them were in january of '99 when chicago got slammed with 21+" of snow. but it wasn't the snow that cancelled school, it was the -15 temps and -30 windchills that did it.

that was back when i was a kid in high school and didn't have to worry about anything - and winter was fun. [that and Chicago actually knows how to clean up snow, unlike iowa].
