CONNERMAN2000 Northern Illinois has had one of the most brutal winters I have experienced in recent memory. I can't even count the number of snow storms we've gotten, or the number of ice storms, or the number of both simultaneously occurring. Right on December 1st we had a devastating ice storm that paralyzed DeKalb, and then it snowed that night. After that, it snowed probably 6 or 7 times, 3-4 inches each, with 1 of them dropping about a foot. Finally a little after xmas it melted off, but then whadaya know, it snowed a bitchload yet again right after that. We've also had -30 wind chill on several occasions.
