| WHat the why she having sex with 14 year olds? She probably could have any 18 year old and over and then some. Jeeze weirdness on all levels. Charges shouldn't have been dropped, if my kid was the 14 year old I would be so pissed. Teachers are trusted to take care of your kids and mold them in to proper human beings. Not trusted to take care of sexual needs. |

I had a one night stand with my former grade 8 teacher two years ago. I was 21, she was 33. Everybody in my school wanted to bang her when we were 13 but it's just not the same when you're an adult.:toothless
What I find funny is that they keep going on about the 14 year old having anxiety and everything. He should feel like a champ...he didn't do anything wrong! |

man, i'm just poking fun. But let's be honest...most young teenage boys would have been in on that scenario. It probably happens more than we think. |

| at 14 you know whether or not you want to have sex with somebody.... you may not necessarally have a good grasp on what the potential consequences are but you are certainly able to judge whether or not you want to . |

agreed...people would be *freaking* if this was a male teacher (regardless even if the student was still a guy).
an abuse of a position of authority (e.g. teacher) is unacceptable in ALL circumstances and should be prosecuted accordingly. |

This is true... but there's a difference between wanting to have sex and being unaware of a dangerous sexual situation with an adult. These laws weren't created because young teens are unable to HAVE sex... they were created because adults preying on children can be extremely deceiving and manipulative in order to get what they want... children generally do not have the life experience to detect these situations.
These laws have NOTHING to do with being sexually "functional"... it has everything to do with protecting our youth from predators like this woman. |

I think somebody failed bio class! Damn.
Girls hit puberty way before guys, thats a very well known fact.
In these types of cases, most people involved know whats going on, and want it to happen. This happened at my high school with a teacher and student. One teacher and a bunch of students caught a male teacher 'having relations' with a female student after comencement. The teacher was never charged, and it was just swept under the rug by those involved.
The girl was hot, and apperently the teacher was good looking.
2 years later a different teacher wasnt so lucky(same school). He was charged, and went through the legal system. |
