Silent Breathing on the phone

Ok so I've been getting these calls with no one responding when i say hello. It just happened today again. Like I can understand it happening once awhile but like on a regular basis. At least once a day is out of hand. COME ON NOW JUST SAY HELLO!!! SAY HELLO!! not to sound like a deep dish song but seriously its annoying especially when your in the shower and you think its a possible summer job employer and you run across the room getting everything wet to answer the phone. Like I could get electricuted answering the phone like that. Ok enough ranting what hell should I do?

We had someone called the "Whispering Woman" who called us from an off-campus number in college. Sometimes, all you got was heavy breathing, sometimes it was something naughty in whispers. You would hear the phone ring in each room on a hallway until someone picked it up. Especially during break weekends when there weren't many people left on campus.

I got called twice - both times heavy breathing. We always thought it was a frat at UMASS handing down a tradition.

But, yeah, it's probably LKD.

Are we talking a rather tough cut of beef here, and by beating do you mean with an acual meat tenderizer?

I'm just trying to get a feel for the situation here.

What you are getting is a call centre calling you. What they do is have a machine that goes through the numbers on their system and it will phone you at various times during the day to see when you answer your phone. This information is put into the system so that way the actual call centre agent will know when to call you

Oh really? That makes perfect sence, I would have never thought of that. So if you answer the phone @ ,let's say,7:30pm, should you be expecting your calls usually around that time?

i heard that if you mash the keypad after that happens, it kicks your number out of the system - is that true?
