I've got a cd (set), that is broken up into individual tracks.... when i try to merge it, and convert it into one track (to host as a set), its coming out with split second gaps.
1.) how can i prevent this ?
2.) what program do i need ? |

1) are you ripping into mp3 format and then putting them together? When you rip a mix cd into mp3, you will always end up with those gaps.
Suggestion: rip in wav, and use HJ Split to put it together. Just name the same, with the .001, .002. 003 file extension.
You can use CDex to rip the tracks into wav.
All free ware :)
Ive been using both programs for years. |

I dunno what program you use to burn CDs, I use Nero...and there's just a little button you click that says no space between tracks.
Hope you can find it...maybe in the options or something. |

He wants to copy tracks on a cd, and convert to mp3. He does not want to burn the cd :) |

ok...what program is doing the saving? When you rip with CDex, it will just rip to what ever names...all the tracks then have to be renamed and in the same folder.
oh oh...does it still show up as a wav, and can you still play it?
Can you see the ".wav" extension before you change it? or is it just the file name, and no .wav? |
