Hmmm.. I dont believe so. I think the only injuiry which occured that I remember was me "accidentally" elbow dropping the top of Kelly's(dance2dabeat)head. Once again, sorry babe. I get a little crazy when im front and centre at Viva :p |

ok ok time to finally do a review.
Tasha and I arrived around 11 and chilled with Max outside for a bit before going in. Being that it was Tasha's first time at Viva I figured we would sit back and chill for a bit just to let her get use to the atmosphere :D
Chiclet had a awesome opening set. I've enjoyed every set I've heard from her and I only wish I could hear her spin more often.
DJ Key....first time hearing him and overall I enjoyed his set. I agree that the end of the set was weak and kinda brought down the energy before MIKE came on but still he played some really nice tracks that kept me dancing. DJ Key really had a lot of energy behnd the decks and that is something that I like to see. If the DJ is having fun then its gonna rub off on others.
My first MIKE set and it won't be my last......he was awesome from start to finish...so many great tracks that kept me wishing he would spin all night. I felt like I was at one with the music and MIKE was one of the first DJs that actually made me feel like he was taking me on a ride and wasn't going to let me off.
After MIKE was done it was time to head home....didn't hear any MO but thats okay because I hear him enough.

Tasha - I hope you enjoyed your first Viva experience :D and I hope you had a good B-Day night of dancing. I can't believe that we survived another weekend :D
Max - You said you weren't coming but I knew you couldn't stay away. when I got your text message I knew you would be out and be out in full force. Partying twice in one weekend with you was awesome....how the are we going to survive Easter Weekend. I've already ordered my body bag :D
Tyler - Dood I am so glad that you got to really enjoy MIKE and that MIKE delivered for you. I wish Tasha and I could have made it to the pre-meet but my new puppy made it impossible to leave that early. I always love partying with you.
Sasha - Now that I know where you live you better watch out :D Its always a pleasure to hit the dance floor with you. You make everyone around you feel special and they can't help but be in a good mood. If you ever need a ride I got you covered :D
Martin - I gotta get my mood building beats in before I hit the dance floor dood. Its always awesome to party it up with you. If I ever need to get my energy level back up all I gotta do is find you on the dance floor.
Fahad - It wouldn't be a party without you there. Without the TA Towel Boy I don't think it would be the same.....and I gotta ask...how the heck do you get all the hot ladies....every photograph I see is you and some hot lady :D It must be the towel :D
Nada - I'm so glad Ali came with you....he is such a nice guy. There is no way people can not dance when you are around. You have so much energy and no matter how sore I am I feel like I must dance or else :D I can't wait for BeB...I'm gonna have to steal some of that energy from you for sure :D And just for the record.....for any dance off Tasha will be My Designated Dancer :D
Ben - so we survived a double night of dancing.....WOW.....I always enjoy a party more when I know you are going to be there.
I know I'm missing a lot of people but don't think I've forgotten about you all...you all make it a party and I will be sure to remember your names as we meet each other more often.
Oh and funny moment of the night for me was Dan grabbing my should and I look over and he says "You're not Fahad....but I know you don't I"
Until next time......whenever that will be....Decadance for sure but I don't think I can stay away that long....I need my TA fix. |

Hehe, yeah when I saw you put up the napkin and I saw him shake his head, I was gonna run up and tell you not to take it personally cuz he had prolly not brought it with him.... seems like you got it sorted out. :p
Think about it this way; you got to be one of the lucky people to hear 'Voices from the inside' (I think I even might have told you about it on the dancefloor) live, by M.I.K.E., on a clear sound system as opposed to hearing Armin spin it with so much Bass that you wouldn't know what the song is in a million years. Honestly, this track is soooo hot.... not even a top 20 M.I.K.E. production and getting reviews for Track of 2006.:cool: |
